BUILDING COALITIONS &
PROMOTING INCLUSION

Our diverse NY Jewish community needs a shared space where all feel safe and valued.
We’re drawing from Jewish tradition to help make our world a better place. Strengthening relationships between the Jewish community and our neighbors to build coalitions and take action around issues of common concern.

We're also looking inward to make sure Jews of Color are included at our own communal table. Supporting greater awareness in the Jewish community for climate justice. And fostering connections between Jewish New Yorkers of every stripe, because our communities are wonderfully diverse. And this diversity makes us all stronger.

What does the word "empathy" mean?

Our Impact

  • We launched the Jewish Coalition on Criminal Justice Reform to create a dialogue about achieving productive change.

  • We launched a New York hub of the Bay Area Jews of Color Initiative to support organizations led by Jews of Color and provide guidance to those looking to work in the Jewish communal professional space.

  • We’re supporting initiatives at camps, synagogues, and organizations that serve LGBTQ+ Jews.

  • We’re supporting greater awareness and advocacy for green policies that work toward a more sustainable and healthy environment through Dayenu: A Jewish Call to Climate Justice and Adamah’s JYCM (Jewish Youth Climate Movement).

  • We creatively meet the Jewish engagement needs of incredibly diverse (and new!) Jewish neighborhoods in New York.

  • We helped nearly 6,000 children and teens with disabilities and special needs receive a range of services.
