VOLUNTEER
WITH US

With our hearts in Israel, we all feel an intense desire to help. We’ve never seen need like this before – and these needs are only mounting.

For anyone interested in volunteering in Israel, UJA has learned of several organizations seeking volunteers.  Please visit this page for more information.

LOOKING FOR ADDITIONAL WAYS TO HELP
  • Call your elected officials to thank them for supporting Israel and advocate to bring the hostages home (Phone calls are more effective than email.)
    • This is all you need to say: “It’s day (insert number of days) of the war. Bring the hostages home.”

  • Advocate to bring the hostages home by sharing this hashtag on social media and tell the world: #BringThemAllHomeNow.
  • Letters of Support Initiative -The Jewish Agency for Israel is collecting letters of support from educators and students in the US, to be sent to educators and students in Israel.
  • Contact your colleges/universities to address Antisemitism on campus. Visit Hillel International for resources.
  • Plan Israel programs or interfaith Israel solidarity Shabbat meals with partners from other groups in your local neighborhood.
  • Post on social media and ask your friends to stand with Israel.
  • Dog Tags For Hostages - Keep the remaining hostages still captive in Gaza top of mind with this meaningful symbol of support.  #BringThemAllHomeNow
The needs of our partners in New York persist. Please also consider volunteering at one of our ongoing opportunities.
