After graduating from Yale in three years, she worked in magazines, and had articles published in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, Town & Country, ELLE, DAZED, Condé Nast Traveler, Interview, and others. Becky Diamond is an award-winning journalist who has traveled to the front lines of Iraq and Afghanistan, reporting for CNN and NBC News. Armed with just a video camera and laptop, she has also covered conflicts in Southern Sudan, Israel, and the Gaza Strip. Today, at NYU, she teaches a new generation of journalists how to be fearless in their search for the truth. She also writes “Risking It,” a popular parenting and lifestyle blog for Psychology Today that explores the benefits of allowing children to take chances and make mistakes.
