Coming together as a community has never been more important. Join us in creating Thanksgiving dinner packages that will bring smiles to Long Islanders in need. You can shop, assemble, and personally deliver packages to families, seniors, Holocaust survivors, and veterans served by UJA's nonprofit partners. Plus, you’ll hear about UJA’s latest work fighting poverty.

You’ll have the opportunity to choose between shopping for the items yourself or having UJA shop for you.

Here’s how you can make a difference:

  • Register and have UJA purchase the items for you — Attend the program in person and assemble a package.
    OR
Register and YOU purchase the items — Purchase one of every item from the list below. All food items must be KOSHER and nonperishable. Bring the items with you to our program on November 11 to assemble and complete your package.
List: 1 can of cranberry sauce, 1 can of yams, 1 can of corn, 1 can of green beans, a 1-lb. box of rice, 1 jar instant coffee, 1 dessert (a package of cookies or a packaged cake), 1 package or can of gravy, 1 package of stuffing (please note: Stove Top stuffing is not kosher), 1 bottle of dish soap, 2 sponges, 1 individually wrapped roll of paper towels, 1 package of napkins (100-250 count).

  • Deliver a Package (Optional)
Take your family with you to personally deliver your Thanksgiving package. A limited number of delivery opportunities will be available. R.S.V.P. by Monday, November 4, to make a delivery.

  • Donate a Gift Card
We’ll be putting a $25 gift card in each package so people in need can complete their Thanksgiving meal. Whether or not you can attend, you can still show your support by donating. Donate now below!
