As the situation in Israel continues to evolve,  we remember October 7 and the selfless and courageous acts of first responders.

Join us to hear from Police Colonel Roy Valdman, head of the Lachish sub-district in Israel's Southern District, as he shares a firsthand account of the police response to the attacks and the immense challenges of decision-making in the unprecedented emergency situation.  Colonel Valdman and his team were among the first to witness and react to the unfolding crisis, and they continue to monitor and fight threats facing the region. He will also discuss the current ceasefire agreement, release of hostages, and what they mean for Israel's future.

Plus, you’ll learn more about UJA’s powerful work healing and rebuilding Israel.

Minimum gift required: This event welcomes donors who give a gift of $1,000 or more, individually or as a family, to UJA’s 2025 Annual Campaign.
