Join UJA Interboro Women to explore Winslow Homer’s The Veteran in a New Field with Rachel Kalnicki, an art educator and tour guide at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

We’ll enjoy lunch and hear from Rabbi Menachem Creditor, UJA's Pearl and Ira Meyer scholar-in-residence. Rabbi Creditor will illuminate the Jewish teachings on hope borne from the depths of loss and conflict—prominent themes in Homer’s painting—and how we can draw inspiration to apply to our personal lives and strengthen our communal capacity to rebuild.

You’ll also discover UJA’s latest work helping Israel heal, fighting antisemitism, and uplifting New Yorkers in need.
