Monet painted his famous Water Lilies at a time of great turbulence in European history — yet his work studiously avoids any hint of trouble.

Join UJA Interboro Women for a virtual ArtMatters session to explore why Monet chose to immerse himself in the solace and tranquility of nature with art educator Candice Koerner.

We’ll hear from Rabbi Menachem Creditor, UJA's Pearl and Ira Meyer scholar-in-residence, who will expound further on what Judaism has to say on loss during conflict and hope for the future.
