Join UJA Rivertowns and Shames JCC on the Hudson for a timely conversation with Glenn Cohen, who spent 30 years as a Mossad officer and chief psychologist, Israeli Air Force pilot, POW expert, and IDF hostage negotiator.
Since October 7, Glenn has been one of the few officers to receive clearance to share his story. He has served in the emergency reserve duty in the IDF Hostage Negotiation Unit, where he was selected to be the first mental health professional to meet the released hostages upon their return to Israel in November 2023; he subsequently wrote the protocol for absorbing the returned hostages.
We’ll also hear about UJA’s powerful work healing and rebuilding Israel, confronting the sharp rise in antisemitism, and helping New Yorkers of all backgrounds here at home.
